AINL Champions Program

The AINL Champions Program recognizes and rewards community members who make a significant impact on the ecosystem.

🏆 What is a Champion?

AINL Champions are:

  • Recognized leaders in the AINL community
  • Active contributors who help others succeed
  • Ambassadors who spread the word responsibly
  • Earners of $AINL tokens for their impact

Champions are not employees. They are respected volunteers who receive benefits in exchange for sustained contributions.

📊 How to Qualify

Activity Tracking

Champion status is reviewed quarterly (Mar, Jun, Sep, Dec). We track:

| Metric | How It's Measured | Weight | |--------|-------------------|--------| | Helpful answers | GitHub "solved" reactions, Discord assists | 30% | | Content quality | Views, forks, citations, peer review | 30% | | Templates submitted | Accepted into official gallery | 20% | | Mentorship | Newcomer surveys ("who helped you?") | 10% | | Community presence | Conference talks, blog posts, streams | 10% |

Minimum thresholds must be met in at least 3 of 5 categories for tier upgrade.

Quality over Quantity

We value impact, not just volume. One breakthrough tutorial that helps 100+ people counts more than 100 tiny Discord replies.

Banned or suspended users are ineligible. Toxic behavior disqualifies permanently.

🎁 Token Rewards

$AINL tokens are distributed quarterly to champion wallets. Token economics:

  • Seedling: 5,000 $AINL / quarter
  • Grower: 20,000 $AINL / quarter
  • Tree: 50,000 $AINL / quarter

Additional bonuses:

  • Template featured on homepage: +10,000 $AINL
  • Tutorial receives >1,000 views: +2,500 $AINL
  • Conference talk: +25,000 $AINL (once per event)
  • Mentorship sprint (10+ mentees in month): +5,000 $AINL

Tokens are vesting over 1 year to encourage sustained participation (25% immediate, 25% each quarter).

🎯 Champion Responsibilities

Champions are expected to:

  1. Be helpful – Answer questions patiently, especially from beginners
  2. Be respectful – No harassment, gatekeeping, or toxic behavior
  3. Shine responsibly – Represent AINL accurately; no hype or speculation
  4. Mentor – Help newcomers get their first agent working
  5. Provide feedback – Report bugs, usability issues, and improvement ideas
  6. Stay current – Keep up with AINL releases and changes
  7. Disclose – If you're paid to endorse AINL, say so

What Champions Are NOT

  • ❌ Official customer support (you still use support@ for production issues)
  • ❌ Legal advisors ( don't give compliance advice unless you're qualified)
  • ❌ Company representatives (unless you work for AINL, then you're staff, not champion)
  • ❌ Token promoters (no price speculation, no "buy now" messaging)

Most champions are approved on 2nd or 3rd application. Use feedback to improve.

⚠️ Code of Conduct & Removal

Champions must adhere to the AINL Code of Conduct.

Grounds for removal:

  • Toxicity, harassment, or discrimination
  • Misrepresenting themselves as official AINL employees
  • Token dumping or encouraging speculation
  • Sustained inactivity (>6 months without contribution)
  • Sharing confidential information (beta leaks, customer data)

Removal is at the discretion of the core team. Appeals go to the full champion panel (unanimous vote required to reinstate).

❓ FAQ

Q: Can I be a champion if I work for a competitor?
A: Yes, as long as you adhere to the code of conduct and don't share proprietary info. Disclose your affiliation.

Q: What if I go on hiatus?
A: Up to 6 months inactivity is fine. Beyond that, you may be moved to "inactive" status (no token rewards until active again).

Q: Can I sell my tokens immediately?
A: Yes, but we encourage staking to participate in governance and access token-gated features.

Q: What prevents champions from just spamming?
A: Quality metrics. Low-value contributions don't count toward thresholds. We review manually.

Q: How do I prove I helped someone?
A: Use GitHub Reactions (👀, ❤️, 🎉), Discord /thanks command, or have them fill out a survey.

Q: Do I need to be technical?
A: Not necessarily. Great teachers, documenters, and community managers are valuable too.
